After months of intense competition that saw 10,000 applicants from every corner of the country, the final 290 contenders battled through a comprehensive assessment comprising written examinations, practical demonstrations, and rigorous viva voce sessions.
The ceremony, skillfully hosted by popular emcees Dr. Trina Islam and Md. The Olympiad’s core mission to enhance digital literacy, foster problem-solving abilities, stimulate innovation, and popularize ICT education among youth was evident throughout the proceedings.
Professor Dr. A.B.M. The audience included an impressive gathering of advisory board members, jury panelists, representatives from leading government and private institutions, educational leaders, tech entrepreneurs, and industry experts.
The competition’s 39 winners received a comprehensive package of rewards designed to propel their tech careers forward. These included substantial cash prizes, comprehensive health insurance coverage, state-of-the-art laptops and tablets, opportunities for both domestic and international educational travel, along with traditional honors like trophies, medals, and certificates. Notably, the winners will also receive special training to represent Bangladesh in prestigious international technology competitions.
Mohammad Shahriar Khan, founder of ICT Olympiad Bangladesh, reflected on the event’s broader significance: “Our vision extends beyond creating a competition platform – we’re building an ecosystem that nurtures technological proficiency and innovative thinking among our youth.” This sentiment was reinforced by Senior Vice Chairman Md.
